Since 1998, MedservRegis has been offering services for manufacturing and mixing drilling muds.
In 2009, the company upgraded its mud plant facility in Malta to accommodate heavy weight muds, in addition to the normal weight water and oil-based muds needed for offshore rig operations. Today, MedservRegis boasts the only mud plant facility in the Mediterranean capable of handling high volumes and high mud densities. We collaborate with Airliquide, a leading global provider of industrial gases from our filling plant at the Malta base.

Drilling Fluids Toll Manufacture
The company operates mud plants that provide support for Energy operations in the Mediterranean.
These units are capable of processing both oil-based and water-based muds, and more recently, synthetic oil-based muds as well, in line with environmental considerations.
Bulk Storage
Our facilities include several types of storage options, including bulk cement silos, bulk barites silos, and brine tanks.
There is also an oil base storage facility with a capacity of 300m³. Upon request, additional bulk storage can be provided. The mud storage facility at the site has a capacity of 1200 m³.
Industrial Gases
In partnership with Airliquide, we deliver bottled industrial gases to meet the evolving needs of the maritime industry and local customers.
